Meet Our Coaches

Ari Karp

Ari graduated at the top of his class from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Kinesiology with a focus in Strength and Conditioning. As an intern he had the privilege of working with the UConn Husky’s men and women’s basketball teams, assisting them in reaching the college basketball Elite 8. He also interned at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in Colorado where he provided specialized strength training to members of the U.S. Special Forces and the Colorado Springs SWAT Team to be used in real-life hand to hand combat. Ari is very passionate about the fitness industry.
As a strength and conditioning coach, he is able to accommodate his clients’ needs by creating a variety of programs for functional training, performance enhancement, injury prevention, and weight management. With Ari’s extensive knowledge of the field as well his tireless drive to progress, he has been able to grow and maintain an extensive and loyal client base.

Mark Bubeck

Mark is a cum laude graduate of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL where he earned both a BS in Sports Management and a MS in Sports Administration. Mark has post graduate training in injury prevention, athletic performance training, advanced programming methodologies, energy system training and corrective exercise. For 20 years Mark has been a highly sought after trainer for both healthy and injured individuals ranging from post rehab patients to high level athletes. While in working in Florida, Mark was head trainer at SAFC of Florida, helping to grow and educate a staff that became one of the top training gyms in Palm Beach County. In 2003, after turning down offers to work at the collegiate level and in professional baseball for the stability of working in the private sector, Mark returned to his roots in the northeast where he has been one of the most sought out trainers within the NY/CT area.
He has been trained and educated by some of the industry leaders in both the strength and conditioning and physical therapy fields. An avid learner, he continues to study in his field extensively in order keep expanding his broad knowledge base. Mark subscribes to a movement based philosophy while using his understanding of functional anatomy to help his clients achieve a wide range of goals.

Loic Descoutures


Loic graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a BA in French and a minor in Exercise Science. For the last 20 years, Loic has combined his formal education and certifications to provide dedicated, thoughtful training services to his clients. He has extensive experience in pre- and post-operative strength and rehabilitative training. For the last five years, Loic has specialized in golf performance, working with golfers in middle school and high school, Division I college athletes (UCONN, University of Hartford, Franklin and Marshall), PGA teaching professionals, and Tour professionals.


Loic has a keen interest in following long-term athletic development of youth, collegiate, and professional athletes of all level as well as fitness and body transformation.
The combination of his ongoing education and passion about the fitness industry, as well as the strength and conditioning world, allows him to be able to accommodate his client’s needs by creating appropriate programs to improve fitness and function, performance enhancement, injury reduction, and weight management.
