1- Brain Dump

Get a blank sheet of paper

Set a timer for 5 minutes

Write down everything that stresses you out

Keep writing until the buzzer goes off

2- 4-7-8 Breathing

Put your list aside

Breathe in for 4 sec

Hold your breathe for 7 seconded

Exhale for 8 seconded ( purse your lips together creating a swoosh sound

Repeat the cycle 4 times

3- Organize

Now that you are a bit more relaxed, take your list and pen

Cross off anything you do not have control of at 100%

Circle anything you have 100% control over

4- Prioritize

Take a new sheet of paper and a pen

Read through the circled items

Pick the top 3 that are causing you the most stress

Rank them accordingly to priority

5- Take actions

Write down the first step you will take to resolve the issue causing you the most stress

-Take action immediately or schedule when you will take action

-Repeat for the 2nd and 3rd stressors

IMPORTANT

You do not to solve everything right away

Just focus on the first step and schedule the second step

Repeat until your stressors are gone.
